It was founded in July of 1998 as a joint venture between Hermanos Vila, S.A. and the multinational ED & F MAN in order to import and sell molasses from sugarcane and sugar beet. The company's products are stored in its facilities in Terquimsa (Port of Tarragona). Its products are marketed and sold throughout Spain through its network of distributors in the country.
